ABB completes acquisition of GE Industrial Solutions,
Now what?
The ABB and GE transaction was announced on September 25, 2017. ABB announced it has completed its acquisition of GE Industrial Solutions (GEIS), GE’s global electrification solutions business on June 30, 2018. Deal worth $2.6 billion.
We have been getting phone calls and emails daily from our customers wondering what is next?
There are many uncertainties, but as for now we continue to be your OEM authorized source for the GE Industrial Solutions line, ABB products and it’s business as usual!!
GE products are still sold by the same channels and ABB products are still sold by their own channels.
Something we know for sure is that GEIS will be integrated into ABB’s Electrification Products (EP) division, as a new business unit called Electrification Products Industrial Solutions (EPIS).
